At a time when the MotoGP title fight is intensifying, Francesco Bagnaia is going through a less favorable period of the season. This Saturday, the Ducati rider failed to make it to Q2 and will start from 13th place in the races at the Indonesian GP.
Davide Tardozzi, the Ducati team manager, admitted to Sky Sport MotoGP that there are reasons to be concerned about the rider, emphasizing that he has struggled in areas where he is usually strong:
– We have to look at the data and talk to Pecco. […]. Pecco has lost a bit of his main strong points, which are braking and the ability to bring speed to the corner entry. We will work with the engineers to give him something more for the sprint race.
