Maverick Viñales’ race at the MotoGP Japanese GP was compromised right after the start. Like Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac/Ducati), he ran wide in the first corner, but the outcome was worse.
The Spanish Aprilia rider couldn’t maintain control of the bike and crashed, losing time with the incident despite managing to get back up to continue.
At the time of writing this article, Viñales was last on the track, one lap behind the other riders. You can watch the incident in the following video.
