Ahead of the MotoGP Indonesian GP, the 15th round of the calendar, Jorge Martín discussed the near future and his goals.
The Spanish rider hopes not to make mistakes on the Mandalika circuit: ‘Last year, I rode a lot in the tests, I lost the pole position due to a mistake in turn 1. I feel strong, I am competitive, and this year is entirely different. It’s hard to fight against names like Valentino [Rossi], Marc [Márquez], or Andrea Dovizioso. I was nervous when I started racing in MotoGP. Then, you end up normalizing things. In the end, they are just a few more opponents’.
Martín is currently the second-place rider in the premier class championship with 316 points, just three points behind the leader Francesco Bagnaia.
