The MotoGP season has arrived in India and, amidst the excitement of the IndianOil Grand Prix of India, Ola Electric has some interesting news. If you remember Ola’s electric motorcycle concepts, well, those attending the MotoGP Bharat in Greater Noida can now see them in person at the Ola stand.
That’s right, Ola is presenting these concepts at the Bharat GP, and what’s more interesting is that the electric vehicle manufacturer has taken another step towards making them a reality by registering their names. The Cruiser will now be known as the Ola M1 Cruiser, the roadster as the Ola M1 Cyber Racer and the Adv as the Ola M1 Adventure.
Currently, these names have passed the verification formalities, which means that the trademark has been registered correctly and that everything is in order. In addition to the electric motorcycles, the Ola S1 electric scooters will also be used for field support and assistance to inspectors.
In short, these electric bikes are still in the concept phase and will take some time to reach production. Ola has set itself the goal of launching the first one by the end of 2024, which may seem ambitious. That said, we expect the Ola M1 Cyber Racer (roadster) to be the first to be launched, as it was the only e-bike to be presented on stage during the inauguration.
