After four races without reaching the top step of the podium, Francesco Bagnaia returned to victory this Sunday in the MotoGP Indonesian GP.
To achieve this, the Ducati rider made an impressive recovery from 13th place on the grid to take the lead with a superior pace in the final stages. In his interview with the official broadcast, Bagnaia stated:
– I think we were deserving a race like this. Starting from 13th, I did the maximum I could in the first laps. Then, when I saw Martín going I just said to myself: «Take care with the tyres and then let’s see». And it was the correct thing, because then in the last ten laps I was with other pace, I was controlling a lot. I’m very, very happy. I want to say thanks to all my crew, to my girlfriend and to my family.
