Álex Rins’ absence may be coming to an end. The LCR Honda rider suffered injuries last June at the Italian GP and has been unable to compete since then. However, he will try to race at this weekend’s Japanese GP.
The SPEEDWEEK.com website reports that yesterday the Spaniard underwent a successful medical examination. Rins is already on his way to Motegi and is listed to attend to one of the pre-race press conferences.
To be able to compete in the Japanese GP, Rins will need to receive clearance from doctors in the usual Thursday examinations. If he does not get the «green light», Stefan Bradl is on standby to take his place in the LCR Honda team once again.
