It’s now official: Jonathan Rea will part ways with Kawasaki after the 2023 World Superbike Championship season. The announcement came this Monday morning.
The six-time champion had a contract until the end of the next year but reached a mutual agreement with Kawasaki to be released. It’s worth noting that Rea has been linked to Pata Yamaha replacing for Toprak Razgatlioglu.
In 2015, the rider joined Kawasaki, having previously represented Honda teams. He embarked on a streak of six consecutive titles and set various records, marking a dominant era in the history of WSBK.
