A truly dramatic and heart-pounding finish in the Moto3 race at the Catalan GP. The final corner witnessed a dramatic turn of events.
David Muñoz (BOE Motorsports/KTM) had taken the lead just before and seemed to be well on his way to at least finishing on the podium. However, his hopes were dashed in the final corner.
The Spanish rider was hit by Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and crashed, not even managing to finish the race. The Turkish rider crossed the line in third place but was penalized and dropped to 12th.
