Francesco Bagnaia starts from the third position in both races of the MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix. In the qualifying session in Misano, the Ducati rider was beaten by Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati).
The championship leader stated in the flash interview with the official broadcast that it is a satisfactory result, also expressing he was impressed with Martín’s record lap time to secure the pole position:
– Very happy, very happy to be in the front row. It wasn’t easy, because I think the lap times we were making are incredible. I don’t know what Jorge did today; for sure it’s something incredible, we have to check better because if he does the same in the race for sure will not be easy. But we’ll see. First of all, I want to say that I’m very happy and pleased to be in the front row, because considering the pain and where we were five, six days ago, we’ve just to be happy.
