Marc Marquez didn’t have an easy weekend in Indonesia. Although he managed to qualify directly for Q2 on Friday, on Saturday he only managed 8th place on the grid and later in the Sprint, he would see his Honda slip through his legs on the first lap, thus being out of the race.
History repeated itself this sunday, but a little later, with Marquez crashing 7 laps in the long race, thus being once again out of the race. In a debrief, the spanish rider was disappointed with the weekend, already pointing the focus to the next round in Australia:
– The weekend started in a good way, but then day by day it got worse and worse and today in the race it was quite calm. I was losing positions, but without panicking, trying to finish the race, but once again at turn 13 I lost the front without warning. Hard to understand, but now I’m thinking about Australia.
